The warmth of the mug clutched in my hand instantly calmed the world around me and brought my focus back. Coffee has always had that effect on my life. It brings a calm, warming, comfort to the daily rigors of life. Some of my fondest childhood memories involved large mugs of coffee shared between family. From my earliest days I remember coffee being a part of my heart. I would dream of the day that I could build my life around sharing coffee with others.  

Over the years my life has taken a journey that was often pretty removed from the coffee world. It seemed like one of those pipe dreams that I would reach in retirement, or in another lifetime. In every season of my life, coffee was woven throughout my daily experiences. Whether it was volunteering in my church cafe, helping run a Christmas themed coffee shop, meeting friends for coffee at a new shop in town, or brewing my own coffee before my full day of teaching, coffee was a constant companion to me. It was a love that flowed freely from cup to cup.  

In 2023, I decided that I wanted to do something different with my life and career. For years, I had the pleasure of working for incredible companies and ministries but the desire to have my own coffee shop had never fully faded from my heart. I decided that the time had come for me to take the leap into running my own coffee company in some form. I began pursuing the possibility of opening a coffee truck, trailer, or kiosk as a beginning stage with the hopes of expanding into a brick and mortar shop one day. In January of 2024,  I quit my job to pursue starting Evermore Coffee. 

Evermore Coffee seeks to be a place that brings joy and comfort to your soul while serving up a delicious beverage. We welcome every level of coffee nerd, the casual drinker, the anti-coffee drinker, family, and friends. 

We can’t wait to meet you and measure out our lives with coffee spoons.
